Our story

In the heart of South-Sudan, where fertile lands meet the challenges of climate change, a powerful movement began. Women—once overlooked in leadership and decision-making—rose to take their rightful place at the center of change. They saw that protecting the environment was not just about saving trees or rivers, but about securing food for children, clean water for families, and a safer future for generations.
The World Women’s Team joined hands with the Agriculture Mission South-Sudan to create a shared vision: women leading the way in climate action, agriculture, and environmental protection. Together, they began training women farmers in climate-smart practices, planting trees to restore lost forests, and bringing renewable energy to villages once lit only by firewood.
What started as small steps in rural communities grew into a movement of resilience, empowerment, and hope. Women became climate champions, communities became greener, and the land began to heal. Today, this mission continues—driven by the belief that when women rise, the earth thrives.
We are building more than farms. We are building a future where women’s voices protect the planet, agriculture sustains life, and South-Sudan stands strong against the climate challenges of tomorrow.
In 2025, W'TAMSS was registered in south-sudan with Relief and Rehabilitation Commission as a National NGO

Our philosophy
We believe that women are the heartbeat of communities and the guardians of the earth. When women are empowered, families flourish, farms prosper, and nature is protected. Our philosophy is rooted in the harmony between people and planet—where agriculture sustains life without destroying the land, and where women lead with wisdom, courage, and compassion.
We see climate change not only as a challenge, but as an opportunity to create a new way of living—one that values resilience, cooperation, and respect for the environment. By combining local knowledge with innovation, and women’s leadership with community action, we cultivate hope, restore balance, and build a greener, more sustainable South-Sudan for generations to come.
